PWCS Schools Closed Tuesday, Feb. 9 on Code Red

All Prince William County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 9, on Code Red. The School Age Care Program will not open.

Superintendent Presents Proposed FY2011 Budget

Reduced funding, increased student enrollment equal $79 million gap for FY2011. Dr. Steven L. Walts, Superintendent of Schools, presented his proposed budget for next year at the Feb. 3 School Board meeting. Read more.

Kindergarten registration for the 2010–11 school year is set for Wednesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 28 at individual schools. Parents should contact their school for specific registration times. Read more.

Kindergarten Registration for 2010-2011

Date: Wednesday, April 14th and Wednesday, April 28th
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Place: Cedar Point Library.

Your child MUST be 5 years old by the 30th of September to
attend Kindergarten this fall.
Parents need the following items to register:

Proof of residency: Contract/Deed or Lease (required)
    plus two of the following:
          VA Driver’s License
          Utility Bill
        Voter Registration
        Vehicle Registration
Original Birth Certificate
Social Security Card/Number
School Entrance Physical Examination and Immunization
